Australia Invests $13 Million to Boost Research Innovation

The Australian Government has allocated $13 million under the National Industry PhD Program to support innovation-driven research. A total of 78 projects have been funded, equally divided between Industry Linked and Industry Research streams. The initiative focuses on priority areas such as cancer detection, clean energy technologies, advanced materials, and aged care innovation. The program aims to support 1,300 industry-linked PhD candidates by 2032, strengthening collaboration between universities and industry while accelerating real-world impact.
